Rain Puddle

Rain puddle rain puddle how do you do
The water is old but the puddle is new

Finding yourself in front of my door
Gathered so deep as rain starts to pour

Rain puddle rain puddle I'm watching you grow
what do you see, what do you know

You once where so high, floating so free
now on the ground you're just looking at me

Rain puddle, rain puddle what will you do
when the feet of the children are splashing through you

You reflect the image that shines on the surface
and then you ripple with meaningful purpose

Rain puddle rain puddle where will you go
You splish like a champ and splash like a pro

Will you be here after this stormy day
The sun and the soil will take you away

Sky Above The Earth

Sky above the Earth
Your colors always changing
The clouds you hold so near
In formations rearranging

The light that feeds the Earth
You lead it down to nourish
Awaiting on the ground
The plants it helps to flourish

Sky above the Earth
You meet the Sun each day
You carry it across yourself
And lead it on its way

The stars that you display
When the Moon is in its place
Shine and give me wonder
They're like freckles on your face

Sky above the Earth
Your anger is astounding
The darkness of your clouds
The lightning so resounding

You're sometimes filled with snow
Other times with rain
You rage upon the oceans
With a mighty hurricane

But when your mood is pleasant
Nature's creatures sing your praise
The gentle winds you usher in
You give us happy days

Sky above the Earth
The birds are in your care
Their flocks feel your presence
As you guide them through the air

Your face is ever changing
The seasons show your moods
People live and die
By your shifting attitudes

Sky above the Earth
The mountains touch your feet
Your clouds give them rivers
Springing forth majestic trees

At the end of day
The colors spread across you
Red to Orange to Purple
To your ever loving Blue

Mystery Earth

http://www.earthbasedinstitute.org/

Mystery Earth, what do you know?
Can you tell me how plants grow?
The sunlight falls feeding you light.
The Moon follows you every night.

Mystery Earth, what are you hiding?
Deep in your core with the magma residing
The blood of your veins and its smoldering heat
Pouring out islands and tropic retreats

Mystery Earth your nature unyielding
To all who will listen, your secrets revealing
The whispering wind and the babbling brook
Displaying their wisdom for those who will look

Mystery Earth the mountains and valleys,
Plains and desert and oceans all rally
Behind your might and your beckoning call
Through Winter and Spring and Summer and Fall

Mystery Earth I feel you around me
Refreshing me, nature vibrations astounding
Filling the land with replenishing love
From the ocean abyss to the clouds up above

Nature's Calling Me

Have you heard the call of nature
Does it whisper in your ear
Can you feel the urge to learn her truth
Does it beckon you come near

Mindful of the rivers birth
Where the mountains meet the snow
It gives you rest, it fills your being
It fills your heart, and helps you grow

Do you long to find some meaning
in a world that hides inside
Oh, to be among the trees
Where the birds and deer reside

Let us drink from her wisdom
Nature teaches can't you see
She gives us strength and nourishment
Mother Nature sets us free
